Between Humanity - 80,000 words

Between Humanity is a story driven novel which takes you on a journey into a potential future that borders on dystopia. Set just five years ahead, you, as the protagonist, were just an ordinary student until one day you wake up in a hospital room, but as soon as you try to go back to your daily life, you realize that something is fundamentally different.

MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE

This project was a major milestone for me, as it was the first game where I conducted a complete AIPE & LQA process from start to finish.

My biggest challenge was localizing American youth slang, jokes, and cultural idioms for the Brazilian audience. Adapting these humor beats and colloquialisms so they felt natural and genuinely funny in Portuguese—while preserving the distinct voices of the protagonist, the roommate, her twin, and her mom—was an incredibly exciting and rewarding experience.
